Advertising Toolkit: Running Start
Running Start, a popular dual credit program, allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors an opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time. This saves students and their families time and money as they pursue a college credential.
Students of color and students from low-income households, though, are underrepresented in Running Start. The Running Start Advertising Toolkit includes collateral that colleges can customize for their own efforts to recruit students of color into Running Start. Further, the Recruiting Students of Color into Running Start: Communications Plan provides research into high school students' demographics, beliefs, and communications preferences. It also outlines tools and tactics for colleges to consider in their student recruiting efforts.
