Our Board
The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges is committed to raising educational attainment, opening more doors to college education, and building on our state's tradition of excellence. The state's system of 34 community and technical colleges is overseen by a nine-member board appointed by the governor with the consent of the Senate. Community and technical colleges provide the skill infrastructure our state needs and the bridge to prosperity that every Washingtonian deserves.
