Public Comments

Public comments are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Nov.14, 1:30-1:35 p.m.. If you would like to sign up to make comments virtually, please email Roma Bert with your name, organization, and topic. Once signed up, you will be emailed the Zoom link to join during the public comment period. Public comments can also be made in person at the meeting or submitted in writing.

Public Comment Guide

Members of the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges welcome input from members of the public as part of its agenda.

• The State Board reserves up to 15 minutes for members of the public to comment on topics related to that meeting’s agenda.
• Each speaker is allotted up to two minutes to provide their comments.
• The Board Chair may allow speakers to comment on topics not on the agenda.
• Those who wish to provide comment to the board outside of the agenda’s allotted time may submit their remarks in writing up to 5 p.m. seven calendar days after the conclusion of the regular board meeting. Written comments will be distributed to all board members.

Executive session

Under RCW 42.30.110, an Executive Session may be held. Action from the Executive Session may be taken, if necessary, as a result of items discussed in the Executive Session.
