500 Revenues – Funds 148, 149

Includes pre-distribution revenue for Funds 148 and 149:

• Operating tuition/fees
• Proportionate distribution of interest income
• Other miscellaneous sources

ctcLink combo-edits block other types of revenue and expenditures from posting to these class codes. Historically, some colleges use this class when closing year-end balances in state funds. However, due to the ctcLink closing process, it is not recommended this be done in ctcLink.

508 Revenues_TT – Fund 148

This class includes funds received from donors and administered by the ???

509 Operating Fee – Fund 149

The operating fee portion of tuition collection must be recorded to this class in Student Financials Item Types.  At the end of the year, the college should transfer revenue from Fund 149-509-ddddd to each 149-ccc-ddddd in an amount equal to the expenditures recorded during the year.  This will allow the 149-ccc-ddddd combinations to open the new year with the correct fund balance.
