EDI Frameworks

EDI selected a racial equity framework called Awake to Woke to Work from an organization, Equity in the Center, to anchor its 2022-2024 equity plan for the agency. Equity in the Center seeks to (1) dismantle white dominant culture in all social sector organizations, (2) eliminate institutional and structural racism at all levels of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, and (3) achieve race equity within organizations, across the social sector, and in communities.
